I got Please Be Seated this week and this is my third of the four seat stamps. I invisioned this old rocker sitting out under a big shade tree. My stone patio is a little lumpy but not too bad.
I ran white grosgrain across Sahara Sand ink to create the correct ribbon color.
I stamped the rocker and then sketched the stone patio around it with an artist pen. I also sketched the tree and the fence. I painted in the grass and sketched in the little grassy spots and greenery around the tree and fence posts. I used watercolor minis fern to make the leaves and to fill in the grassy area.

When I saw the thumb print I thought it was a real photo! It really does make you want to sit there and sip on some sweet iced tea! Great job!

Very pretty, the Linen BG stamp on the Sahara Sand is so rich looking. You've done a wonderful job with this sketch and matching up the colors. I love the cobblestone patio. Another masterpiece. I can't wait to see the fourth one.
