I wanted to try the watercolour spritz technique with mixed media paper. I inked up my stamp with my SU! markers, spritzed with water and then stamped onto the card stock. The mixed media paper is meant to be used with water, but it doesn't absorb as fast as watercolour paper, so I had a bit of time to move the ink around with my water brush. I really had fun with this technique.
I wanted the sentiment to have the same watercoloured look, so I inked it up and then lightly dabbed my waterbrush in a few places ... I think it turned out well.
I entered this into Merry Monday where they want us to use light green, dark green and red on our cards.
And also Addicted to Stamps & More challenge this week is Holidays.

Beautiful holiday card, Loll! I love the look of Penny Black stamps and how you've used this one! Thanks for the tip on the mixed media paper, which is something I haven't tried yet.
