I imagine crepe paper might hold the pinches and creases a bit better, but all I have is black, so I used some of Verve's tissue paper :D. I used a ruler to tear it, so the edges are a little rough, and then after folding I just added silver with a marker. Then I cut it and assembled as per Ky's tutorial, adding a button in the centre.
To keep it mixed media, I used a spare Brusho background from my box and stamped and embossed it in silver. I used a sewing machine to secure the burlap, then added my flower, a flourish, a sentiment tag and some sequins.

Oh, I love the way your blue tissue paper flower looks with the sparkly edges! I also love all the wonderful texture on this creation, and especially those delicate silver lines in the background. I recently got a stamp similar to that; thanks for the inspiration! Into my faves : )
