I learned to do this technique when Dini showed it to us on MIX124. When I was at Stampin' Up! convention in Utah a few weeks ago, I visited my stamping friend in Provo. She has very few Stampin' Up! stamps, so we played with what she had as I showed her some new techniques I had learned. This positive negetivity technique is fun and I like it combined with the chalkboard technique.
I especially like the way the card turned out since the sentiment embodies what we were/are doing.

Took me a second to figure out what you did here! You did a great job with the negative painting - I"m thinking that would make a fun tutorial and I may just work on it next. I love that fine embossed outline 'outside the box' - how fun to combine the chalkboard look as well. Thank you so much for playing along with my challenge!
