I made this CASTLE-card for the 6th birthday of my granddaughter. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...&ppuser=205884
Originally I started with this pattern: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/104990235037151105/
for the front of my card and made a little box (the castle walls).
The second part is made with a rectangular piece of Cardstock divided in to parts.
The upper part is hanging on the Merlons of the castle, comes out under the walls and extends to make the pop up for the grass, the little princess and one of her cats and her carriage. (see one of the little photo's)
The roof of the towers is made with little pink punched circles .
The walls of the castle are made with a Marianne Design embossing and cutting die: DS3403.
The Merlons of the walls are made with a Queree punch: QU002
The brown paper for the doors is scored with the Scor-Pal.
I used a sort of book page binding system for attaching my punched grass strips-princess- cat and Carriage.
I designed the inner wall so I could write my personal message on the backside and hide more cats .
You can mail this card in a normal envelope as you can flatten it by remove the inner part of the castle.

Wow, this is amazing. I love it. I can't imagine how long it took to make it, but it was definitely worth the effort when you look at the finished result. I am so happy you shared it with us. Thank you for joining us for the Classy Cards N Such challenge.

This is beautiful. I am sure your grand daughter will love it. My third grand daughter would have loved this when she was that age.
Thank you for joining the challenge at Not Just Cards and at Whoopsi Daisy. Hope to see you again next time.
