I love the trees full and lush in the summer! If you've never been to Maryland, August means full dark green canopies with ceiling to floor green! The grape vines and low bushes create a dense forrest that envelops you and makes you feel so secure! I try to soak it in as long as I can before the colors start to emerge in just another month and a half. But don't think about that, I'm concentrating on lush, beautiful, summer!
Unfortunately I need a sympathy card for a co workers FIL. I've always wanted to try the bikes technique so this was a good time. I used the amazing tutorial front the fabulous DDStamps at http://www.ddstamps.com/dd_stamps/20...iue-bokeh.html
I used her technique exactly and I loved how it came out! I hope it brings comfort.

What a wonderful way to express sympathy!! Easy to prepare some in advance and beautiful as well!
Think how "personal" this would be whenever you happen to know the family well enough to use colors that are meaningful to them. Thanks for sharing this with us!
