I flipped the sketch since that's the way my bg feather image went....and my image panel is slightly smaller to have better proportions with the nest. The feather and shading take place of the 3 pieces indicated on Carey's sketch. So a simplified version of today's offering.

I like the feathers in and outside of the nest!! I have always thought the blue of these eggs is so pretty. I just discovered a robin's nest while photographing some of my Rose of Sharon. I wondered why the adult pair were bothering me and then I saw the nest. A beautiful and simplified version of today's sketch Sallie.

Wow Sallie, this is terrific! You distressed your edges and gold leafed? or gold embossed? either way, it looks amazing with your image and embellishments! Love the added feather to the nest as well! The splattered bg is also very cool!
