This card is to tickle another teapotter this week. Gabby challenged us to celebrate Beatrix Potter this week for the Teapotter Challenge. So I brought Flopsy & Mopsy to tea to help celebrate. We are told that they had bread, milk & buleberries for supper. But here they are having strawberries, tea and looks like Flopsy is having a carrott. I know it is Flopsie, because her ear s flopped over! Poor Peter had to go to bed! I hope this card will tickle a fellow teapotter.
I found this image in my "on the way out" stash. Guess it is in again! I will never be able to downsize my stamps! It is a very old SU! set. (2000)
I stamped it in Momento, and colored with Copics. I then did some stitiching on the panel under it. That is difficult for me, unless the machine is threaded already, which it was today, because I had done some mending lately. But if I have to thread that machine, it takes hours! I don't get along with the sewing machine. But I sure like how stitiching looks on a card. The sentiment is from Tea Shoppe, and it is on a label from Layered Labels, and I put that on dementionals over a scrap of lace. TFL

What an adorable image! I've had a couple of those "on the way out" stamps that I have had to retrieve from my bag for FreeCycling when I needed them for a challenge. Your stitching looks fabulous, and the lace adds a lovely vintage touch which suits Flopsie and Mopsy perfectly.

Glad you still had this darling bunny image! It's so cute and your coloring is great. Sweet little story, too. Also like your bit of lace and perfect sentiment.

Sharon, this is such a cute image! I really like how your lace really sets off the card and the feminine feel! Your stitch looks great, especially that it is black! Some teapotter will be happy to get your card! tfs

LOL, I am with you on the sewing machine---if someone besides me would thread it I coud be done in no time---takes longer to thread than sew. Love your bunnies and guess Flopsy is watching her weight. Stitching and background is great---nice card for some lucky teapotter.

I am so with you on the machine bit....I still have a pair of DH's shorts that got a rip in like a month ago and still havent mastered the guts to open it up and fix them, which means it hasnt been out for me to try that sewing edge on a card...I agree it looks so neat too, I guess DH should get his shorts fixed and I shoudl give this a try, it DOES look very pretty here...well done, glad you got it out., Looks liek fun to color too....TFS..:0)
