It has taken me quite some time to get this card loaded up - as the internet was down last evening and again this morning. Finally it is up again - so keep your fingers crossed this works.
I am not impressed with the effort the computer has put into recreating this card. The colours are not right and no amount of coaxing the computer will work. In real life the colours are more aqua and the sponging and the shell are more of a soft gold that brilliant sulphur yellow. There is also a lovely white embossed wave background - but it doesn't show up in the background either. But I think you will get the idea.
The mermaid is coloured with Derwent Inktense Colour Pencils. She is highlight with glitter gel pens for added sparkle - as everyone knows that mermaid are attracted to glittery things.
The background is a gelli plate creation.
Hope you will enjoy this.

beautiful card and amazing BG, don't we all hate computers some times. I have learned cards are always way better in real life, so tough to really show off all those aspects of a card.

I am always unhappy with the photos on the computer.....never show true color! I love your mermaid, and that gelli plate bg is fab! I wish we could see this beauty IRL!

I think it's beautiful, so this makes me wonder what the color REALLY is, but this happens to me on a regular basis. Green is my favorite color and it always looks brown on my cards. At least yours has sparkle and pizzazz.
