Two alternative ways of creating this are found in the first post of the challenge thread.
I stitched beads to mine after assembling it, matted it twice and then added it to a base of wood-grain paper stitched round the edges. To finish off I added a sentiment and a paper button.

I sure wish I would have had time to play along with this challenge. It does create beautiful quilted look and my MIL is a quilter. It would have been a super card to send her or add to her stash to give to her quilter friends. I might still do it another day when I get more time. Stunning card Sabrina!!!! Love the great added beads too.
