Hello, sweet friends! Can you believe that Christmas is just five months away? Wow! Today I am sharing my first Christmas card for this year. I know some of my friends work on their cards throughout the year, and I so admire them. But, I've finally made my first one! And I am using the newest Power Poppy remixed digi set, and it got me into the Christmas mood. Had such fun coloring it, and I even used the out-of-the-box technique and fussy cut some of the leaves ... and paper pierced too - surprised?! Haha! I added a striped DP, rounded the corners, added some rhinestones, and it was done. So now maybe I can start making more Christmas cards. And talking about that, there is a one-day sale at Power Poppy for this digi and all the Happiest Holiday Collection clear stamps. Visit my blog for more details.
Thanks for stopping by for a closer look, and I hope you have a wonderful day - and hope you start working on your holiday cards too! Hugs!

This is lovely Cheryl, your colouring always blows me away sis. I love green and white base and the way the leaves extend past the gorgeous layered and pierced border.

Cheryl, the coloring on the holly is just gorgeous and love the out of the box technique! The berries, highlighted so perfectly look real! Spectacular card, my friend! Looking forward to a day of coloring with you again!

What a way to start making Christmas Cards for this year - and yes - only five months away - he he. I will send you some lovely cold weather to go with this card - just to get you in the mood. Just so beautifully coloured and like so many others - I love the way the holly peeps over the edge. So nicely done.
