For this week's resist technique and summer treats CAS challenges, using last week's colors (sans dessert).
Blackberries grow wild around here. They're a thorny, fast growing invasive species; however, late summer they produce wonderful berries. Childhood memories: picking gallons of berries to make jam or cobblers, even to can and send to my aunt's San Diego restaurant for authentic Oregon blackberry pie.
Lesson: Blessings from weeds.
The resist is a cheat. I've had the glossy flourishes paper in my stash for ages! Time to use it.

I don't care if it's a cheat.....that bg paper is gorgeous. Beautifully colored blackberries.....we have them growing wild too, and eat them as they ripen!

It's not a "cheat" IMO....someone just did the embossing for you. You did all the beautiful sponging in well chosen colors to accent your lovely focal point of the blackberries.
