Found this image on our inspiration site today (IC502) and loved both the colors in the necklace on the left juxtaposed with the black in the necklace on the right: http://www.forzieri.com/womens-belts...u150215-001-00
First I splattered masking fluid on wc cs. (I do several panels at once and then keep them for later projects). Then used the smooshing technique for my background with splats of color using distress inks (swipe distress ink on acetate (one color at a time) – spritz with water, apply to cs). Laura Bassen has a video on this if you are interested. Then I rubbed off the masking fluid (I love the added little white splats that this creates), and stamped my flowers using the MISTI so I could stamp it several times to get a strong, solid black image. Flicked some splatters in black using my distress ink diluted just a bit with water on my brush. Embossed the sentiment on black cs, matted the image, and attached to card front with dimensional tape for added dimension. So fun to make and I love the bright, strong result.

YEARS ago, when I was a size 4, I had a Pucci dress, which I loved. His colors are always so radiant, and always paired with black for maximum effect. I think you really captured the essence of the inspiration piece!! Your colors are bright and true, and the black silhouette flowers make them come ALIVE!! Well done, my friend!
