Hello! I had a lot of fun with this card but I don't think I have ever exhibited as much patience before! I was inspired by Lydia's Fresco video. Lydia suggested drying the paint the old fashioned way so I took her advice and allowed for lots of drying time and then I didn't get back to making the layer into a card for several days.
My card features a brand new release from Sweet 'N Sassy stamps, "Lovely Lotus"! I colored the blossom and lily pad to mimic the colors of the background for a bright look.
I am playing along with Robin's fun F4A282 to add something that flies. I stamped and fussy cut the dragonfly then popped it up so that it looks a bit like it's coming in for a landing on the blossom!

Everything about this beautiful card is lovely Angie. You chose such pretty colors for your lotus, and that little dragon fly looks like he is seconds away from landing...
I can almost hear his wings. Your bg looks great. I will have to look at the tutorial. The die cut frame and bow are the perfect finushing touches.

BEautiful bg for your lovely lotus and dragonfly. Every time I see pond lilies there are groups of dragonflies, so I associate them!

Your background turned out beautifully - well worth the drying time! I just noticed that pretty Lotus stamp today over at SNSS - looks lovely on your card!
