Wow, made it here finally---LOL--- had read newsletter I get the day before this came out and had my cards design for me to do. Well, first off not great with itty bitty measures but managed to get them in but said 3 strips of each of three colors--took me 4, put mine thru 3 different eb folders but can also use dp ---I used solid for mine. You glue these strips to card stock, then cut into strips again and rub glue stick all over your card stock, putting strips down at an angle---one corner to bottom corner then as put others down match your color to one in row you are making---makes like diamond shape when done, trim off edges but then keep these trims as need to put where paper did not cover--lining up again. Seems hard at first but then fell in as went along. Glue this section to white, then onto dark blue strip then onto the dp strip then onto aqua, then card base of dark blue.--Whew-done and got easier as I went along, Did verse on puter layering it and stamped the bee and attached to sentiment. I am so impressed how wonderfully this "quilt " turned out, Donna Jeanne!! Love how each of the different colors used a differnet embossing folder - looks SO MUCH like a real quilt !!! Great job, and the little bee makes it one step more adorable!!

You made my fingers have little seizures reading your process description...have yours recovered? I love the effect that this technique yielded Donna Jeanane...doing the texture first was a brilliant idea! Wonderful color choices, gorgeous result. Lisa will love this!! Thank you so much for coming to her Teaparty. Be sure to grab plenty of those fun quilt cookies - just put out a fresh batch! Big hugs from NJ!

What a lot of work piecing all that together. The colours are gorgeous, and the different textures add a lot to it. Your little quilting bee is so cute.
