Making a card for our CAS333: Christmas in July. Just got these great penguin stamps - perfect!! Used the partial die cutting technique to create the opening in my top panel. Stamped, colored and assembled the penguin and hat. On the card front I masked for the moon, then sponged the night sky with 3 colors of blue and a bit of black on the edges, then embossed the stars with white. Spritzed the sky with shimmer spritz and wow, it looks great IRL. Stamped the sentiment, added stickles for sparkle on his hat pom-poms, and assembled by popping up the top panel with dimensional tape - which gives the card a great 3D feel. Embellished with the snowflake and gem.

I know the Penguin is suppose to be the center of attention, but I'm in Love with your nighttime sky and stars....I can't seem to get enough of them! So beautifully sponged, spritzed and embossed, Maura! I also love the partial circle...so clever~

I love the depth you've created in your night sky! The partially die cutting technique looks intriguing. I will have to check it out. What a cute guy that little penguin is! TFS
