This was a fun technique with my new Dahlia backgrouond stamp. I stamped in different mini distress inks, then spritzed the stamp with water and stamped. Then I inked up the center with the two of the colors and stamped on the flower. That gave a detailed look on top of the watercolor look.
I cut my 4x4 paper into 1" squares and added them to my 4 1/4" square of black paper.

That big bold flower is perfect for making a beautiful tied panel. Using black to put the tiles on really adds to the drama. I do love the look of vertical sentiments.
