Isn't it wonderful that we are having a happy, happy teaparty for our dear sweet friend Kathleen, or as I love to say, Miss Kathleen Lammie for Alabama!!!
I can't imagine what Kathleen, Paul and their family have been through. It was with heavy hearts that the Teapotters sent "thinking of you" cards to Kathleen in April 2014....now it with great happiness and fanfare that we welcome her home.
Here we have four eager Teapotters on a road trip to Alabama!! Maudie was in such a hurry that she had a little accident with the razor blade. They all stopped at the hairdressers on the way and had a few red highlights put in, in honour of their special friend Miss Kathleen Lammie!!
The usual smack & squirt technique was done here and everything was coloured with distress inks. The chassis was overdone a bit and I shouldn't have used the micron pen until everything was dry grrrr, but time is moving on and I want to get this in the mail pronto.
The balloons were made with one of the first punches I ever bought and the bakers twine was a RAK from Kathleen about 4 years ago!!
I will post this in a USA business size envelope, they are bigger than the Aussie DL envelopes so the green balloon will be fine.
Thank you for looking.
P.S. Since I added the organ donor slogan to my SCS signature line I have received many lovely messages from ladies here at SCS sharing their donor stories and many messages saying they have discussed it with their families. I think the message is important so I am going to keep the slogan. I can't imagine a more generous gift from one family to another. xx

How did you get a picture of us celebrating Kathleen's good news? Wouldn't that be fun ...for SCS friends to take a road trip..visit other SCSers along the way, stop at every LSS, and hit every Michaels, Joanns, and Hobby Lobby coupon in hand?? LOL Once again you've outdone yourself....love the girls and the balloons coming off the top of the card. This is perfect in every way for Kathleen.

Susie as usual your card rocks. And if a load of teapotters head to Alabama, let me know and I will hop aboard. I live 2 miles from the TN/AL border and about 30 minutes from Kathleen.

Wow!! This is amazing. Love the balloons and the one flying above and off the card. Cute! The way you did the background really makes it look like the party in a car is driving down the road. So fabulous!! The car image is adorable. You colored it all so well. This is an amazing card. The recipient will LOVE it. TFS

Oh, fabby card Susie! Your trademark fantastic backgrounds (love the sense of depth that the v-shaped sky gives, combined with the girls out celebrating is just brilliant. I can tell that Ireland isn't on the itinerary, or they wouldn't be in an open-top car like that. The custom numberplate is a great touch, too.

I just love your cards, Susie, and this card is another winner. Your ladies look like they are having a fantastic time. The colors and balloons just shout "celebrate". My son just showed me a popular video on youtube that was about organ donation...how appropriate your message was.

SUPER card for Kathleen! It is so representative of the TPers and gals at SCS rallying to support her and welcome her home. As always, like your design and great inking. LOVE the depth of the scene you created, too. Looks awesome. xx
