When I first looked at the layout, it looked like a train wreck to me. (I watch too much news) I decided to try it anyway and came up with this cross between a brocade designer paper and a painted cup holder. Go figure. I uploaded anyway and am going to attempt another one. This was a challenge for me, and I decided I needed one. Thanks for looking.

This is really cool Carol. I just can't make cards like this, so I don't even try. I love all the different papers and texture. Sort of Bohemian IMO. The sketch gave me a start too!!! Glad I had extra time to figure something out

I think you did a really nice card. I was really challenged by this sketch too. I just didn't know which direction to go, but the sketch is so topsy turvy (to me anyway) that it just screams shabby chic. I think that is the direction I am going to go ..... if I have time to do another one.

Cool mix of prints and embossed birthday panel! I see this sketch was perplexing to quite a few gals. Glad you gave it a try to come up with this "mix-up" card. xx
