My daughters took part in a cycling tour through Poland, Germany, and Holland this spring. As part of a team of 25 Dutch cyclists and 25 Canadian cyclists, they visited sites where the atrocities of WWII were played out, such as Auschwitz, Bergen Belsen, Dresden, Westerbork. Besides witnessing the hatred and death that once reigned, they also experienced the joy of friendship, freedom, and life.
This is one of the two cards I made for their host families, who so graciously took them in and helped to create lifelong memories and friendships. They have become "Ambassadors of Freedom."

Thank you, Martina, for your comments! It was a fun - and challenging - card to visualize and make.
I took a quick peek at your blog - I see you're from Belgium, and I see that many of your stamps are in Dutch! My parents live in Holland, and I am always looking for a source for Dutch stamps...I have a few that say Happy Birthday and thank you, but that's about it. Have you found an online source? I would appreciate if you could point me in the right direction!
