This is my card for today's WT537 challenge. Linda is our hostess and her challenge to us today is stripes and silhouettes.
I started this card for Tuesday's color challenge #536 but didn't get it finished up until today. I used the Flourishes set "patriotism on parade" and the set has this silhouette plus the same images in an outline stamp.
Stamped the silhouette image and then stamped the outline image for the 2 flags. I colored the tiny flags in real red and navy and popped them up over the flags on the silhouette image. This covers the stripes portion of the challenge.
My fireworks are from a stamp by Great Impressions and stamped in real red ink. The added stars are from the Verve scalloped trio die. I used this die and cut a border in marina mist to ground my silhouette image.

Charming card to celebrate the 4th of July, Mary. A sweet parade of children in silhouette...accenting the American flag. Love how you did a fireworks-filled sky....and carried the small star motif onto your blue band.

What a great design. I love the fireworks display, and the wonderful parade at the bottom. Great to add the stars across the bottom. Love the sentiment. This is an instant fave. tfs.
