When I started making this I was playing around with glossy paper and reinkers and tim holtz alcohol ink. I used real red, night of navy, and turquoise from tim holtz. I honestly did not like it, but thought, well I'll do something with it anyway. I ended up stamping the background stamp from friends 24/7 in gray and then stamped the bird and flowers in black. These were both momento inks. I ended up really liking it then, so I finished my card. I cut a black panel and layered it with a martha stewart punch that was also punched in black for the embossed look. Put it on gray dp, added black/silver ribbon, stamped the sentiment, and it was done!
Thanks for taking a peek!

This is an incredibly beautiful background - and all hand made. The bright colours in it standing out nicely from that soft grey background and the black centre panel. Very pretty and elegant.

This is so, so pretty! The pop of bright pink against the soft gray and black is what drew me in from your gallery. The silver striped ribbon/bow is just perfection!
