One of my favorite DRS Designs stamps is the Cancer Is...Greeting This stamp is so about my Mom who has battled cancer for years. She gets up every day smiling and laughing even though the chemo and cancer are doing a number on her. Wow - that is true courage.
Placed everything on some painted cardboard recycled (my favorite kind of bg), tied on some ribbons, and then added my anchor with some little dried plant material out of one of our flower arrangements.
Hugz!!!!

DEFINITELY this is about your Mom! From all you have told me about her - she blows raspberries in the face of cancer!!
Love your cardboard background - you have inspired me to start SAVING this stuff!! Amazing that I buy things, while you just take it out of a flower arrangement in your house to embellish your cards - this one is a WINNER! HUGZ!

Nancy, this is one of my favorite poems for the courageous people fighting cancer! Didn't know there was a stamp for it. I LOVE your added grungy elements and yet you managed to add elegance too. This is truly a gorgeous card!

My best to your Mom, may she win her battle. (I lost my Mom to cancer) My suggestion: Buy a shadow box frame(not only for its depth, but it can stand on its own) for your BEAUTIFUL(in artistry and words) card and present it to her that way.....she can place it close to her wherever she might be. I find your whole card VERY touching, Nancy.
