While crafting with Jody, we decided to try Heather T's technique of watercolor stamping. I colored the stamps with distress markers and some of her Spectrum Noirs aqua markers, spritzed and stamped. Had my usual unrecognizable image. Took a paint brush and tried to paint in more detail and shading. Then tried for a soft wash in the background and basically covered the whole card. Add chunky embossing powder, a gift from Peggy and so much easier than splattering. Thank you Peggy! Used pencils to bring back a little definition and accent the center of the blossom. Thanks for stopping.

Your shading and detail are wonderful....love your soft colors on this and the chunky ep makes a great splattered effect. Gorgeous! Nancy your cards are always a treat!

Nancy, This is so pretty! I love the wotercolor without the lines from a stamp. The details you added to get definition to the flower center and the wash background really brought this to life!

Wow, you did a fabulous job photographing this! It really does show the soft colors perfectly, and the beautiful detail you added back in. I do love this gorgeous card!

Anything you do is over-the-top gorgeous, Nancy. Love the very watercolored look you achieved and your coming back in with pencils to give a little more definition is genius. Sounds like you and Jody had a wonderful time together...two consummate artists sharing ideas.
