Last week on Monday I took my husband to Urgent Care with a horrible headache. About half an hour later he was on an ambulance heading to the Emergency Room after a CT scan revealed a cyst in the center of his brain. Surgery was last Wednesday, and Monday he came home. It gives a whole new meaning to this month's Central Theme - First Comes Love. In sickness and in health, for better for worse. We will be celebrating our 28th anniversary on Saturday and I am SO glad to have him still here. God has been SO good to us.
It was nice to make a card again this afternoon - a little bit of normal in my caretaker role. I used this week's sketch with a number of new Cut Ups from the latest TCP release and one of the new sets called Bird Friends.
Thanks for looking!

Oh, Tricia, it's so wonderful to see this beautiful card from you! I'm so glad you found time to relax a bit and make it. I read your blog earlier today about your husband and have been praying for you all! Praise God that he is now home and has the sweetest and most loving caretaker he could ask for! Happy anniversary, and celebrating your "for better or worse" vows, as you always seek to honor Him in your lives! Hugs, sweet friend!

REal love gets us through the thick and thin, the better and the worst. When you have love you have everything. Love this sweet card and great choice of colors.

I feel you...after my husbands near fatal heart attack, I felt every new day was another precious gift from my heavenly father, Jehovah. Glad to hear of your hubby's recovery.
Meantime, your card is fabulous, and I just love all that sunshine-y yellow, it totally pops in the gallery.

May I just say your card is LOVELY!! Your little blue bird and clouds are so sweet. I love the way you used the sketch. This is one terrific card. I am glad you got to get back into your craft room. On a more important note, I hope your dh is doing well. That must have been a very frightening experience! Happy 28th anniversary too!
