I do LOVE the new SU 100# Thick Whisper White CS on pg. 149 of the new annual catty. It makes such a sturdy base for a CAS style card. Great for One Layer cards too.
I was still playing with my girlfriends Gelli Plate, but tried watercolors instead of acrylics this time. Love the results. I used yellow, orange, pinkish red and tiny bit of grape to get a pretty Ombre effect for Virginia's View Challenge #15: Ombre &/Or Monochromatic. I loved how it turned out.
Challenge #3: Addicted to Stamps & More #148: Anything Goes. ATS&M Celebrating their 3rd Birthday. I LOVE this challenge so thought my card was perfect. Thank you Kylie for keeping us so inspired for 3 years :-)
Challenge #5: STAMPlorations Anything Goes. Must use at least one STAMPlorations Stamp Set. I love the font and sentiments on their "Fond Expressions" set.
Thank you Lydia for honoring as one of the new DDG's this month. I still finding hard to believe :-) Pauline Godfrey aka "lotsofstamps" is the other new Dirty Girl and has a wonderfully creative style.
Thank you also for all the congratulations and sincere comments on our photo's, bio's and cards. It has been a very exciting and humbling few days :-)
SCS is the BEST because of all of you my friends!

Nancy this is gorgeous. I am so glad to see your success with watercolour on the gelli plate because although I had some success with acrylics on my first try on the gelli plate you know watercolours are much more my thing. I am so glad you have joined the DD; you are are a perfect addition to the team. I am only sad that as you come in I go out. I will be eager each month to see your beautiful projects. Enjoy yourself!

What a gorgeous card, Nancy! We played with that dragonfly at a SU workshop on Saturday, and I thought it was so pretty. It looks wonderful on that beautiful background.
