Another fun sketch from Ally; this one fits her screen name well! I was a bit stumped by this one so I headed to my Pinterest board for inspiration and found this pretty room. I loved the calm feeling of the lovely grey tones and thought it would work well with pencil shading. I stamped my image in Smoky Slate. I then started layering with pencil. I first used thing strokes and did a little blending with my finger. I went back and added more detail with tiny dots in the pointillism vein. I used my Sahara Sand marker to add a little shading around the stems. I adhered this image circle onto a Smoky Slate piece. I added shading along the edges with the pointillism technique using mainly pencil but also a bit of marker and lastly some Smooch that I also used on my image. I punched some small circles and added shading to these too. I popped my panel over a Slate base. My sentiment was stamped in Versamark and embossed in clear.
