I really wanted to join in the VSN but try as I might, I cannot make a card in an hour LOL.
I started by putting a large piece of aluminium foil on my desk then placed a piece of smooth white cardstock on the foil then squirted on a lot of water.
I shook a little brusho pot over the card, then picked it up and tilted it to move the colour around.
I used several different colours and waited for each colour to dry before adding the next colour (I hit it with the heatgun a few times).
At this point the colour didn't look that crash hot so I layed the card in the coloured pool of water that was on my aluminium sheet.
I cut the panel to fit the card and used the left over strip to stamp the bird and the sentiment. I stamped with MISTI several times to make everything nice and black. I also used a paint brush to bad a bit of extra colour onto the bird. Fussy cut bird and mount with 3D tape.
The long legs and feet are hand drawn directly onto the card, so are the weird long sticks with little circles and the doodled border.
These super fun birds were a gift in our goodie bag at craft camp!! Thank you for looking.

Awesome card with your signature backgrounds, some I have been practicing! Your techniques are off the charts and work beautifully! Love that bird with the long legs, reminding me of an image I hunted for two years after seeing a bird with long legs. Love that you drew them! Incredible talent and creativity and into my favorites. Your patience between layers of colors is amazing!

Oh great - we have knees this time. Lots easier to bend down now. Now my knees are really aching. I love this - specially that background - you will have to tell me where you got your Brushos (here in Aus?).
