I am entering this card into the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 273 today. And if any of you are on Instagram you can find me under my blog name: Summerwalkdesigns
After coloring my Sizzix doodle flowers I cut them out with the coordinating dies and created a Yankee Doodle Dandy bouquet. I placed them on a Friendship Jar (the smallest), and put our flag in the background.
Independence Day is just around the corner. Let's raise our eyes and hearts to heaven and thank God for this wonderful country and those who continue to serve.
As always, thank you so much for your visit.
Blessings,

I had to stare at this one a while Susie since this is the first time I saw someone use stamps and matching dies without a giant, white border! The cutting is so perfect! What a fabulous design you created! No one but you could have successfully put these elements in to a patriotic card so beautifully! Love your card!

Talk about a "Feel good" card - love the patriotic flourish of our great country's colors in the flags and flowers, backed by the papers featuring tons of stars, I like to think of as all our military heroes, past and present! The glossy accents give your flowers such a eye popping feature!! Awesome card, Susie!

Oh, Susie! I LOVE this card with its beautiful patriotic colors, and it has almost a Mary Engelbright feel to it with the beautiful colors and floral art. And your coloring is gorgeous along with the great take on this sketch challenge. And do I love the flag? Yep! We have one hanging at our house, and we love it! I agree with Nancy that the dies are wonderful, and you've taken great care to use them well! Such a beautiful card that truly makes me proud (of you and our country ... and our military). May God continue to bless America! Hugs, sweet friend!
