This card was a LOT of work for me! As I flipped through my cut wallpaper pieces, I saw this piece with aqua in the background and the lovely iris with NO color to it. So I tried to paint it with Peerless paints and they would not stick so I wiped them off. Then I tried various markers and ended up with a Sharpie for the dark purple and a Recollections for the lighter purple. Then I used Copic for the greens. (I need to get more copics - I only have a couple reds, greens and blues). I used my heat gun to try to dry this but it took forever. Then I pierced around the whole card because no tapes will hold the wallpaper. Then I stitched all around the card. Then after I put the card together, I decided the dark purple was too predominant so I looked for my purple stickles and they were 'distress' stickles which I do not know why they are different. I put them on the flower parts of the iris and that did tone it down. So....all in all, I am happy with the results even though it was a lot more work than I normally put into a card! tfl
