My title refers to the name of the dp. It is called Autumn Leaves, but I feel it looks more like summer. Our S2S15W challenge this week is to use up some of our copious amounts of patterned paper. I am not a person to use orange, that is why this dp was still in the stash, but combined with crisp white, I find it looks quite nice. This is also for this weeks teapot tuesday challenge to make a cheerful and colourful card and our inspiration is the hymn In the Garden by Elvis Presley. The flowers from the dp are in the garden, as is the dragonfly. The card base was dry embossed with a circle ef. The strip of dp was mounted on a die cut mat.Sentiment panel die cuts also and the dragonfly stamp was coloured with Tombow markers and fussy cut and the body was covered with stickles.
I forgot to mention, that the scripture is on the inside. 'You are inscribed in the palm of His hand' Isaiah 49:16

Your dragon fly is so stunning! I do love orange on cards but somehow I seem to never have it in my card stock collection and am always scrounging for it. It is fantastic with this teal and white combination too, I will have to keep that in mind when I drag out my next piece of orange on a card. Very lovely card for our teapot this week.

The paper is so pretty and so is that dragonfly. I don't think I've ever seen that wonderful embossing folder.

Oh but Ina, that paper is GORGEOUS - and I'm not a user of orange either. I can see that it's a large design and might be overpowering in large doses, but paired with the textured white and that wonderful dragonfly, this is simply beautiful.
Love the scripture that you used on inside. Pretty DP. I am like you and don't use orange too much. But , not only is it a Fall Olof, it reminds me of a tropical garden, like in Hawaii!i love your card and your use of the EF and the punched boarder.
