This is my card for IC496. It is entirely made of unused leftovers from other projects. They are always handy on my table. I always go to the samples first and was immediately inspired by this wreath.
My real inspiration here was the burlap bow, but I just could not find any in my stash that was delicate enough to use for this card, so I opted for the color and used twine for the bow.
I walked around my craft room picking up stuff that I thought would fit and put it all together. The Recollections CS from Michaels was the first. Then I added the Petite Oval cut from the corrugated cardboard of a burger box and laid the preprinted photo (CD of Vintage ladies bought years ago) on top of it. The poinsettia went on next, then the already punched flower - also from a burger box, but not peeled. The twine bow is glued on top. Now I am inspired all over again. I hope you are too.

I love using left overs to make something brand new too! Your card is amazing, I love the way you layered it and the vintage photo was the perfect touch!

I really liked that wreath, too and almost went with that for my inspiration. I love your assemblage Carol! The vintage photo is perfect and everything you have surrounding it, the bits and pieces on your stamping table, work beautifully as if they were made to go together!

The natural textures and colours of your card are very appealing! Fantastic that you could just graze your craft room and pull together this marvellous card! I love your vintage lady; she looks right at home. Great look!
