I chose the purple flower then added the tulip border for the tulips on the container. I added the twine for all of the swirled pieces sticking out all around. Finally I tried to make my sentiment similar to the chalkboard they used.
I stamped in blackberry bliss and watercolored with my aqua painter. I used my white gel pen and wink of stella on the flower.
Then I added the flower to the background and added the chalkboard and twine.

Beautiful! I love the deep olive for the background. It contrasts so well with your gorgeously coloured rhododendron. Wonderful take on your inspiration piece. TFS
