This week's Mix-Ability challenge is a celebration of National Donut Day (put a hole in your mixed media project) - I thought it would be fun to pair the donuts with coffee, and join the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop too!
My card is a shaker card, and was so much fun to make... this is one of my favorite House Mouse stamps, one of the originals from Stampa Rosa. I did a wash for the background using Hydrus watercolors (Payne's Grey), then colored in the image using a variety of watercolor markers. The shape of the card was based just on the shape of the watercolor wash.
The image has a round label on the coffee bag - I cut that out to make a window for a shaker card. I glued a piece of clear cardstock over the opening and used a Shake-It shaker pouch behind the image to contain my Coffee Bean die cuts.
