I was chatting with some crafty peeps earlier today and I told them about my dinner mess last night....MariLynn was one of the gals I was chatting with.
I made steak last night...our gas grill wouldn't stay lit for some reason. I decided to use the "maxi grill" setting on my oven and cook the steak that way. All was well. I opened the oven, turned the steaks and was pushing shelf back in and the pyrex the steaks were in blew up...I mean, EXPLODED. It sounded like a gunshot. WHAT A MESS. I told MariLynn and a couple other friends. MariLynn related her exploding pyrex a few weeks ago. In honor of our exploding pyrex, we chose to use some chunky glitter and the cracked glass technique in honor of our shattered pyrex.

Had to add this beauty to my favourites. I have this same stamp and never did it come out as beautifully as yours. I love all that colour. The cracked glass is a nice touch.

This is beautiful! I like the cracked glass. Sorry you had an exploding plate to inspire this but this actually turned out great! Hope no one was hurt by the exploding plate.

Oh my goodness I NEED this stamp! I knew of a butterfly version like this, but have never seen a dragonfly. I just love what you did with it, and all of the wonderful colors you used.
