This is my GD reminder card for our Time Out challenge where we are CASEing one of the very talented DeeptiÂ’s cards from DeeÂ’s Art Utopia. Check out DeeptiÂ’s card and the other talented designersÂ’ cards here , and join us.
It’s also a thank you (CAS327) to Angie (ohmypaper!) for all her time and energy as a CAS hostess – not to mention all her wonderful comments on so many of our cards. Thank you, Angie – your kind comments always mean a lot to me!
This time I took inspiration from the gingham-look dsp and the bright colors flowers popping from a dark background. Die cut my posies and sponged the flowers only with distress ink (stacked 2 die cuts for depth). Sprayed with shimmer spritz for that fabulous sparkle IRL. Assembled the pp and black cs and flowers, then die cut 3 “thanks” and stacked those. Added the punched butterfly, the bling, and done! Linking also to:

Really beautiful Maura! And a wonderful interpretation of Deepti's card. Love this classic colour combination of black, white and red. Thanks for playing along at Happy Little Stampers. xx

Love the look of your sponged flowers against that dark background! The triple layered sentiment really stands out nicely against the gingham DP. Your punched butterfly adds a nice balance to the card design. Wonderful card!

Oh, another one that I've been missing the last week or so. It's gorgeous, Maura, and I love the dramatic feel with the colors and your wonderful dies! And who does not LOVE gingham! Stunning card and a wonderful way to honor sweet Angie! Hugs!

Oh how beautiful! These colors are always so wonderful together, but you have done exceptionally well! Love the little gems and the placement of your thanks!

So very pretty, Maura ... the sponged flowers are so beautifully dimensional ... and I love that single delicate butterfly against the black! Thanks so much for being such an inspiring GD with us at Time Out! Anita
