This card started off as one for the current Wednesday Tutorial which then turned into the perfect segway into the Ways to Use it challenge - Favorite Tools.
I went hunting for a sketch and settled on the Mojo Monday sketch for this week.
The colours were dictated by the DP and the choice of DP was dictated by my mum-in-laws preferences, it is a birthday card for her 97 birthday and she likes autumn tones.
Love this technique and blending on the embossed image is a lot different to blending on card because you have a lot more "open time" to move your colours around.
My favorite tools, well just about all of them but top of the list would have to be my SU Stamp-a-ma-jig I love stamping and this tool is never far away from my left hand. I also love heat embossing and often stamp over greetings with clear embossing powder after I have stamped with the coloured ink, I love watching the embossing powder melt into a shinny finish and the way it pops the image. Copic colouring is also up there with my favorites, I just love the way the colours glide onto the paper and give definition and dimension to other wise flat images.
Hope you have fun doing these challenges, thanks for looking.

I love the way you have coloured those flowers! They look like they were painted on with acrylics. Beautiful colours. You have really taken advantage of your long card format beautifully. What a splendid card!
