It occurred to me that I'd better get an anniversary card made for DH, since I'll be busy working on his present over this weekend when he is away! I decided to try the Peek-a-Boo card tutorial, since I was curious to see how it actually worked. Such fun!
I launched straight in and hoped it would work first time, since I only had one sheet of the cloudy paper. And it worked perfectly. I followed the tutorial linked above. I found that I shouldn't have had the umbrella die hanging over the edge, but since I'll be giving this to DH, I can tell him to be careful. Image coloured with Inktense pencils, sky and grass sponged in with distress inks, and I added some sparkly raindrops with a Sakura Stardust pen.
You can see the inside HERE.

Fantastic 'showers of love' card! :-) I have never seen this fold before. I love the way you have embellished it to fit your theme. The Hedgies are among my favourite images. You've coloured them so beautifully! I am going to take a long look at the link to the tutorial for this card. It is very special and I have a 60th anniversary to make for coming up. (not mine!) Thanks so much for sharing!
