This week's Featured Stamper is Brenda (aka tessaduck). A well-deserved honour not just for her cards, but for all she does for SCS and all the comments she leaves on our cards.
I did the reverse of Brenda's card - hers is looking outside and mine is looking inside, so I named my card the opposite of Brenda's.
I included her idea of a winter scene with house and fir trees by making a tiny painting of a snowy outdoor scene to hang on the "wall" - I used part of a small stamp, coloured it with pencils, and made a frame with nesties rectangles. I used a Graphic 45 dp for the wallpaper and a different one for the upholstery of the armchair. I cut the cushion from a scrap of red cs.
The outside of the house is a scrap from an advertising flyer that looks like wood siding. The window frame is cut 3 times to give dimension and sponged with antique linen to distress it a bit.
I added a thank you sentiment as it is for a friend who came over recently to help me make red cushions for my living room sofa and armchairs.
