I always say how easy my cards are, but truely, no brain cells were used to make this card. There is always a story... Friday was nearly my last day on this planet. I was going home from work when I went past one of the local thrift stores and decided - after driving past it- that I had to stop. Made a unplanned U turn, which nearly involved several other cars, and rushed in. I like little pins etc which they have for 2 dollars. They NEVER have art stuff. Well, some crfters husband must have decided to clear out the house, because there were stamp pads and stamps for $1 each. Unfortunately, even though they were not with me, I could hear the stomachs of my husband and sons growling. Only had time to grab a few things. I was just testing the colors of these rainbow stamps. I pressed the entire pad onto the paper and got this cool bg. This was one of the stamps I bought... it is stamped once upside up, and once upside down. The black grid only goes around the top and right side, and I wanted it to go all the way around. Now I have rainbow hands. TFL, Francie

I'm glad you had such a great find, Francie! I used to have a beautiful rainbow pad but I once left the attic window open and it rained and the box with that inkpad was right under a drip and...Well, I can be thankful that that's the only inkpad that was under it. The colours in yours are just beautiful - and the stamp is great too. I really like the mesh down the side of it. I'd be like you - I think I'd want it to go all the way round.

Watch those U turns! So glad you're still with us ~ what we won't do to score a crafty deal, lol!
This card is so unique; love the super colorful background and your upside down, upside up stamping of the floral image.

Your wildflowers are singing a colorful song today Francie... What a great find and so glad no one was hurt in the process... Maybe you will get lucky again and they will have more to get rid of. Awesome deal and you had fun trying them out.... Win/Win

How fun is this? I've never seen stamps in a thrift store either! I love the way you come up with creating your backgrounds, Francie! Each one is so colorful and bright! Love that stamp too!
