Sponged three shades of distress inks for the background, then sprayed with a shimmer mist (hoping it would seal the colour) ... it seems to work. Added white embossing powder over top and then sprinkled on a mixture of white and glitter embossing powders and heat set once the paste was dry.
Die-cut the birch trees and coloured them with a waterbrush and a little gray ink, and sponged the birds Put it all together along with a couple of snowdrifts.

Loll, I'm just seeing this from the CAS favorites thread - it is an absolutely gorgeous die cut scene - love the blue and white color scheme. Now it is in MY faves!
