I did a watercolour on my birdie today, and as much as I would like to take credit, I was looking at a bird on pinterest seeing where to shade etc. while doing this. I am hopeful it will sink in as I would like to do some watercolour. I added the sand to the bottom and while wet added the tumbled glass so as to not get blotches. Distressed the paper edges with my Zutter and added the flowers ribbon instead of cardstock to the top and underside. Thanks for looking ...

You had me at neutrals and distressing, but the cool blue effect at the bottom took this one right over the top for me! Love the coloring on the bird too.

Totally DELIGHTFUL, Kia. Your watercolor skills are improving by leaps and bounds(I think it is a difficult medium to master...I'm still working at it) Such darling image that just makes one smile. You added wonderful textures too.
