The Blue Morpho is a beautiful butterfly we were introduced to at a butterfly house near us. When its wings are closed its a dull brown butterfly, but when its wings are open it is a brilliant blue. I attempted to create a similar butterfly for this card. Read more about it, and see more pictures, on my blog post - http://stampinwithjac.blogspot.ca/20...ue-morpho

The blue butterfly is a fabulous contrast against the colours in your lovely embossed background.
We've seen a butterfly in Greece which is the most beautiful sulphur yellow when the wings are open, but the instant they land on any surface they close their wings, so I've never succeeded in being able to photograph them. I hope the blue morpho is easier to see that wonderful inside colour.
