Made this hoping to be able to use it as a stand but it's too fragile to hold much, but I still think it's quite pretty. A friend suggested it would be great table decoration for ladies get together or a girl's birthday party. You can see more pictures and read more about it on my blog post - http://stampinwithjac.blogspot.ca/20...nd-stands

They are pretty! Did you try putting dsp on a cereal box weight cardboard to see if it would work??? I think the thinlits cut the lightweight cardboard. . . Might add some strength. OK, I tried it. The swallowtail did cut out of a piece that is just a tad bit lighter weight than cereal box, in between a manilla folder and a cereal box if that helps. It was tight to get just the cardboard through the big shot. . . Haven't been able to get the little pieces out. . . guess you can save your time! They are cute the way they are. . . I have seen where others have layered lightweight cardboard pieces to make "stamps". . .Maybe the manilla folder weight would work. . . then just line up the dsp or cs afterwards. Would love to know how it works out. . .
