This is my card for WT531 which was to use May Flowers. We have loads of them, but I was dying to use this new set, so used these pretty roses. I thought it would be unique to leave them uncolored so I stamped them in red and left them that way. The stems are stamped in green and left uncolored. The leaves in the top left corner are part of the dp.
Lately I start the card on the day of the challenge. I started it on Thurs. Company Thurs night so it gets set aside. Friday I work all day and it's "date night" for us. No time there. Today is Sat and my stampin' group came this morning. The last one left at 1:30 when DH started mentioning he was hungry. Then it was such a beautiful day that yard work and piling wood was my next agenda. Then get dinner out - leftovers! And then I finished my card. Happies! I hope you like it.
Oh, and don't feel sorry for me. I love my life! It's just crazy busy. (and I am very slow at making cards)

Very cool idea to stamp in red and leave uncolored.....that dotted bg is great....it may have taken a few days but the results are beautiful! Sounds like you're having fun and also getting things done and just enjoying Spring..nothin' wrong with that ;)

Carol, I LOVE these flowers! I want them! I love that you didn't color them and your fussy cutting is outstanding - looks like they're die cut! Great dp too. Pinned!

When I see a card like this, I always wish that I would remember how effective an uncolouredn image is. Lovely background paper, too, a perfect setting for the flowers.

I love that you did not color your flowers. We all sure like to color out images but some times if we just leave them they are just as pretty with no color. Thank you for doing a card for my challenge.
