In my head this looked way different. Oh well, at least I had some fun putting this together....my card...
Loved that both challenges had a "sand, beach" theme. I have had this sand in a jar stuff for a long time and today I got to use it.
Since this was for the MIX challenge, I started off with a white cs panel, added paints, ripped up book text, left over table scraps. The I gessoed over it and then added some watered down white paint.
Put my beach on, then painted the water and sky. Drew, colored and cut out the umbrella, towels, sun and tiny bird. The clouds were punch as was the sun.
Did some doodling here and there, stamping and stenciling for the mix media look. Done.
Well there you have it. Have a great weekend all!...TFL :0)

Love all your mixed media going on here, Nutmeg. So fun you could use your years and years old sand on your card. I love your drawn images, too. very colorful and sweet. Job well done.
