This is for both of today's challenges - "Sand Between My Toes" and "Just Beachy". I had the base already made and most of the small elements pre-cut in my stash. I colored the scene and small pieces with alcohol inks and chalked the sky. The scene was covered with Diamond Glaze for a little sparkly shine, smooth texture and the twine provides some rough texture. The beach (sand) and pilings were colored with distress inks. Punched a round piece of paper and covered with glue, then starting in the center, wrapped twine into a circle and added the anchor on top. Wrapped twine around the 2 pilings. Glued a line of twine along the top of the base piece. Assembled the remaining pieces. I love anything nautical or beachy (as you can see from my gallery). Thanks Anna and Shirley for such fun challenges!

Fantastic card, Priscilla, I love the rope and anchor embellishment you created! Of course, all the other die cuts are perfect for your scene. I bet you had so much fun making this!

What an amazing step card, Priscilla. The coloring is wonderful, but what really caught my attention was the coiled twine with the anchor. Great addition, my friend!

Whoa...there's sooo much going on in this scene, just breathtaking! This is so life like with the life/activity of a dock near the beach so realistic! Wow!
