Joanne a/k/a jojot, carries on as May's hostess with the mostess! This week, Joanne challenges us to use acrylics and inks to create a background...not stamps or embossing folders on the background!
I made my sand and surf with Memento Inks. Then, I took white acrylic paint and dabbed at it with a paint brush for my "surf" crashing on the beach.
I am sure you are getting tired of seeing this type fold, but I still have 2 to make...this is #10 of 12 for a card swap we're doing at the local Scrapbook Station store. I am trying to keep my "theme" to an ocean/water one....I love how this one turned out. Hope you like it too!

I'm happy to keep on seeing these! You know I love beach scenes - almost as much as birds. The spray on your waves is amazing, very good brushwork there.
