We are so proud of our daughter and her 24 year mililtary career. She came this week for three days and we went to a military funeral and my husband wore his American Legion uniform and she wore her officer's uniform and they were both in the honor guard for the funeral. So, I made a special card for him since he says I never make anything special for him! Now I did! tfl

So sweet! What a great family you have...so terrific that your daughter is carrying on the military tradition. Thanks to your husband for his service....I predict he will feel honored ;)

Rita, you have every reason to be proud of your daughter. I certainly would be too. That's an impressive career. How nice she and Mr. Scoots participated in the funeral. I think you've done a marvelous card for your husband. Bet he was happy.

Love this card! You framed their photo so beautifully! He must be thrilled to get this, both in uniform. You have every right to be so proud of both of them and love the card you made in his honor!
