I made two of these cards using the inlaid die cut technique. I first cut the candy jar out of the white, then out of the silver card stock. I placed a piece of clear acetate behind the negative image in the white card stock making the card front. From the candy jar in silver I cut off the portions that would be the clear glass and fit the stem and lid into the negative space over the acetate. This gave me my jar. To make the shaker, I went around the jar with double stick foam tape and filled it with sequins and candy pieces. Then I adhered the back to the card front.
Shaker cards are fun and easy to make once you have made one. I love giving them since the recipients always seem to be so delighted with them. I really like this candy jar die set since it makes a shaker that is so different from the snow globes that are common for shakers (although I love those too!)
